Alex grew up moving around a lot due to his dad's job, so generally finds it quite easy to adapt into new places and spaces. He currently lives in Willesden/ Queens Park with his brother and has been living here for 2 months. Even after only being in this flat for a this short time, Alex still feels a sense of attachment to the place.
"I had a funny feeling strike me the other day, when I arrived back into London after having spent a week visiting my parents, that I was back "home". This sense that I had my own bed back - despite the fact that the flat came part-furnished, and there's probably been tons of other people that have also called this bed "their" bed, at one point or another. There are things I would change about my flat if I had the choice - my brother and girlfriend are probably sick of me complaining about the curtain choice and wall colour of my room - but overall I feel very lucky to be living here. It's cosy. It's in a good location. And the neighbours are lovely. Although the connection I've built with the flat is still very fresh, I'm sure it'll give me a lot of good memories over the next handful of years that I'm here." - says Alex
